His father was of Italian descent and his mother was of German, Scottish and Dutch descent. His mother Mary was an accomplished model and dancer. His father Steven was a corporate attorney and stock broker.
Matthew grew up acting in the theater and transitioned to film acting in 2014 after graduating from veterinary medical school with his doctorate in veterinary medicine. He is an actor known for 2Face (2016) and Speed Dating (2014).
